I met Meghan back in 2007 when we both worked for a small company that sold antibacterial essential oil towelettes. Random, I know, but I look back on that time and feel such gratitude for that weird company, leopard print carpet, and endless snacks. We shared a small office and she introduced me to many life-changing things, but most notably she had a knack for picking the best music. I knew nothing of Patty Griffin or Gillian Welch (two of my now-favorites) before that time, and it came as no surprise to learn that Meghan herself was a soulfully talented musician.
While she has been writing and performing music for years, she just recently launched a new site with new music, some upcoming classes for kiddos, and has been sending out some killer content. (Think acoustic covers and soulful emails – seriously, sign up for her newsletter, you won’t regret it.)
I met her out at Douglas Preserve a few weeks ago to shoot some new brand photos and we had such a great time! I love working with other women who just get it. Thanks Meg for being such a dear friend – I am so proud of you and your music!
