I've always been jealous of people that can eat doughnuts and not immediately gain 8 pounds. I mean, if I eat a doughnut I can literally see the circular outline on one of my hips. It becomes a new friend that hangs around for awhile.
Don't worry, I'm not so uptight that this prevents me from occasionally enjoying a good doughnut, but in general I approach all things fried and covered with frosting with a "moderation is best" sort of attitude.
But hey, it's National Doughnut Day! So go nuts. YOUR NATION DEMANDS IT.
