It's Friday!

April 2, 2010

Another week, another hint of Spring . . . another rainstorm.
  • It’s very possible that I’m the last person in the blog world to hear about this, but I’m still super excited about this new way to experience etsy.
  • It’s been a long week, bad hair day, or the freeway was a parking lot. What’s a girl to do? Just Smile and Wave. One of my new favorite places to visit.
  • What’s the room in your house that gets overlooked when you’re wildly decorating the rest? For me it’s our bathroom, in part because it’s so tiny. But I can’t help but be inspired to get my bum in gear by ideas like this and this.
And finally, as I've spent much of my week bent over woodblocks and stencils, this quote really resonates:

"O great Creator of being, grant us one more hour to perform our art and perfect our lives."

-Jim Morrison

My dance card is full this weekend, so I'll be back on Monday.
Here's to a glorious Easter weekend of good food, family, friends, and joy. He has risen!

  1. so much fun to see your fun stuff...I have to tell you, the wall of bathroom art was an idea of mine back when Nathan was drawing pages and pages of microscopic organizms. I thought that would make an interesting wall paper in his bathroom. Ended up we were moving before that happened, but anyway, cool idea. The botalicals reminded me of his drawings. And I'll never forget Matthew's expanding panorama on green construction paper. One day that will cover a wall!
